Artist Bio - Dianna Fitch

Creating is a passion which feeds your mind, body and soul.  Our family which includes eight siblings inherited the creative gene from our father, who seemed to be able to create with just about anything.   I am joined in my creative efforts with my artistic, creative sister, P.J., who I admire and look up to.  Together we created this site as an expression of ourselves. 

How did I get to this point?  After working 9-5 for over 25 years, my screaming inner voice was finally heard.  I left the corporate world and entered into another zone altogether.  UNEMPLOYED!!  Well, it didn’t take long before boredom set in and the need to create took over. 

Personalizing has always been something I enjoy doing, because it makes gift giving all about you.  Who DOESN’T want to feel special?   Etching is permanent and once given it is hard to give away – therefore you know your gift will never be re-gifted.  Working with glass items including mugs, wine glasses, wine bottles, plates, ornaments and mirrors (to mention a few) became fascinating. 

From this evolved my jewelry.  I won’t bore you with the six degrees of separation it took to get from glass etching to jewelry.  Nonetheless, jewelry continues to feed my creative urges and continues to evolve as we speak.  Again, focusing much on personalization – if you can see it – I want to create it for you.
